Privacy Policy
Last updated: 4 June 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how HyperGrowth W.L.L, trading as "DollarAbroad" ("we", "us", "our"), collects, uses, and protects your personal data when you use our website and the International Card-Activity Verification service (the "Service").
1. Who we are
The data controller is HyperGrowth W.L.L, Office 44, Al Khawaja Building, Zubara Ave, Block 321, Kingdom of Bahrain. For any privacy matter, contact us at [email protected].
2. What we collect
- Contact data: the email address you provide so we can send your receipt and confirmation.
- Transaction data: a record that a payment was made, the amount, currency, date, and a processor reference. We receive a tokenised reference and, at most, the last four digits and card brand from the processor.
- Technical data: IP address, browser type, and basic analytics about how you use the site.
We do not collect or store your full card number, CVV, or expiry. That data is entered directly with our payment processors.
3. How we use your data
- To provide the Service and send your confirmation and receipt.
- To prevent fraud, comply with legal and anti-money-laundering obligations, and manage disputes or chargebacks.
- To operate, secure, and improve our website.
4. Legal bases (where GDPR applies)
We process your data on the bases of performance of a contract (delivering the Service), compliance with legal obligations, and our legitimate interests in preventing fraud and running our business.
5. Payment processors and sub-processors
Payments are processed by Stripe, which acts as an independent controller/processor of your payment data under its own privacy policy. We also use our web hosting provider, Cloudflare, Inc. (which provides content delivery and security), and our email service provider to operate the site. We share only the minimum data necessary.
6. International transfers
Your data may be processed in countries outside your own, including where our processors operate. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
7. Data retention
We keep transaction and receipt records for as long as required to meet tax, accounting, and anti-fraud obligations (typically 5 years), then delete or anonymise them.
8. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your data, to object to or restrict processing, and to withdraw consent. To exercise any right, email [email protected]. You may also complain to your local data-protection authority.
9. Cookies
We use only the essential cookies needed to run the site and keep it secure. We do not use advertising cookies. You can control or block cookies at any time through your browser settings.
10. Security
We use encryption (TLS), reputable processors, and access controls to protect your data. No method of transmission is 100% secure, but we take reasonable steps to safeguard your information.
11. Children
The Service is not directed at anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
12. Changes
We may update this policy; the current version is always published on this page with its "last updated" date.
